omg, you guys, have you heard the latest about id software? it's pretty wild - basically, the co-founder john carmack is talking about how xbox is kinda... dismantling the doom studio, and i'm low-key shocked. i mean, doom is like, a classic - it's what got a lot of us into gaming in the first place.

so, apparently john carmack isn't super angry about the whole thing, but he does think it's gonna put a bit of a damper on the mood of the founder reunion. which, fair enough - i can imagine it would be pretty weird to have a big reunion and be all like "hey, remember that one time we made doom?" and then have to talk about how the studio is being gutted. it's just kinda sad, you know?
