so, you know how there are some game creators that just seem to understand what makes a game truly magical? for me, fumito ueda is one of those people. he's the mastermind behind ico, shadow of the colossus, and the last guardian - all of which are pretty much etched into my brain as perfection. and now, he's working on a new game called gen atlas, which is actually going to be his first project to hit pc.

i'm beyond excited to hear that gen atlas is coming to pc, mostly because it means more people will get to experience ueda's amazing storytelling and game design. but, at the same time, it got me thinking - what about his older games? wouldn't it be amazing if ico, shadow of the colossus, and the last guardian made their way to pc too? apparently, ueda feels the same way, and he's expressed interest in seeing his older games become available on pc at some point.

the thing is, it's not entirely up to ueda - the rights to those games are owned by sony, so it's really up to them to decide whether or not to port them to pc. but still, it's nice to know that ueda is on board with the idea, and who knows, maybe someday we'll get to see these classics on pc. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as hyped as i am about gen atlas, you can already start getting ready for its release.
