so i just read this really interesting article about immersive sim games, and i have to say, it's got me thinking. basically, the designer of the classic game thief is saying that trying to make a triple-a immersive sim just doesn't work. and i kind of agree with him - i mean, these games are all about providing a super immersive experience, but they don't always sell like crazy.
