omg, you guys, i just played the new mindseye mission called blacklisted and it's literally the biggest disappointment ever. i was so hyped to dive in, especially since it was supposed to reveal some juicy "evidence" of sabotage against the game's devs, build a rocket boy. but let me tell you, it's just a total mess.

the whole thing is super short, like you can finish it in under an hour, which is probably for the best because it's just not interesting at all. the story, dialogue, setting - everything is just low-effort and boring. and don't even get me started on the gameplay, it's just so meh. i mean, i've played mindseye before and it's always been a bit of a chaotic mess, but in a weird way, it's kind of fun. but blacklisted is just not even accidentally entertaining.

i did some digging and apparently, this mission was originally supposed to be a hitman crossover, which sounds kinda cool, but that got cancelled and they just repurposed the content. now you play as some elite assassin named julia black, and it's just so... bland. the mission has checkpoints, but if you exit the game, your progress won't be saved, which is just weird. and the trailer is literally just royalty-free music, how lazy is that?
