i'm beyond hyped to dive into boltgun 2, the sequel to one of my fave throwback fps games. basically, it's like the first one, but more - and i mean that in the best way possible. the devs, auroch digital, have taken what made the original so amazing and just escalated it, adding more guns, more environments, and a new playable character to boot.

so, let's talk about the new character, nyra veyrath. she's an adepta sororitas battle sister with some seriously cool abilities, like a springy slide that can chain into a big jump with bullet time. and her guns? oh man, her crossbow is so satisfying to use - it's like a heavy, intimidating "thwip" that just cuts through enemies like they're nothing. i'm also obsessed with her flamethrower, which is just so much fun to use and feels really unique.

on the other hand, we have malum caedo, the returning space marine. he's still all about that aggressive playstyle, with a charge ability that lets him plow through mobs and some awesome guns like a plasma gun and shotgun. it's like slipping back into comfortable shoes, you know? but at the same time, i'm excited to see what other surprises his weapon wheel has in store for us.
