so i just finished the final update for destiny 2, monuments of triumph, and i'm still reeling from the experience. it's hard to believe that this could be the last we see of the destiny universe, at least for a while. i've been playing these games for years, and it's crazy to think about how much time i've invested in this world and its characters.

the update itself is pretty cool, with some new quests and story developments that are definitely worth checking out. but the real highlight for me was the secret cutscenes that bungie included, which give us a glimpse into what the future of the saga might have held. they're super emotional, especially the first one, which features zavala reflecting on his journey and the weight he's had to carry. it's a really poignant moment, and it's made even more impactful by the fact that lance reddick, the original voice actor for zavala, passed away recently.
