omg, you guys, have you been waiting for eric barone's new game, haunted chocolatier, as long as i have? it's been like, almost five years now, and i'm literally dying to get my hands on it. the creator of stardew valley is finally opening up about the development process, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride.

so, apparently barone has been dedicating five whole days a week to haunted chocolatier, with the other two days going to stardew valley. i can only imagine how hard it must be to juggle two games at once, especially when one of them is as beloved as stardew valley. barone himself admits that it's way tougher now than it was when he was making stardew valley, mostly because he's got a lot more on his plate now - fan mail, business people asking for stuff, all that jazz.

i can totally relate to barone's desire to just "disappear" and work on his game without any distractions. i mean, who wouldn't want to just lock themselves in a cabin and create something amazing without any interruptions? but at the same time, it's pretty cool that he's so dedicated to his fans and wants to make sure they're happy. and let's be real, the anticipation for haunted chocolatier is insane - stardew valley is a tough act to follow, but barone's promising that this new game is going to be even bigger and better.
