hey guys, so i've been playing subnautica 2 and i'm obsessed with exploring the underwater world. one thing that's been bugging me is how to get strong acid, which is a key component for making a power cell. basically, you need it to get your tadpole mini-sub up and running, and trust me, you want that.



so, to make strong acid, you'll need to harvest some necrolei cysts. these can be found in the jellyfish forest, which is pretty easy to get to if you head north from the life pod. just keep an eye out for the blue-ish hue and the jelly lei structures - it's like a whole different world in there. oh, and don't forget to grab your survival multitool, you'll need it to cut off the cysts from the stilt orbs.



i have to say, it's pretty cool that you can find everything you need in one area. the old habitat is like a little hub, and if you're lucky, you can even find a processor facility to unlock the blueprint. it's like the game is guiding you towards getting that strong acid. and, fun fact, you can also make it with sulphur and gold, but let's be real, that's way more hassle than it's worth. i mean, who wants to go searching for coral crabs or unlocking heat tolerance adaptations when you can just grab some necrolei cysts?
