so i just dove into the new riven tides update in arc raiders and i'm kinda obsessed with finding these ship models. they're basically these trinkets you need for the avian alarm project, which is pretty cool. i mean, who wouldn't want to build a bird-based alarm system, right? it's all part of this new update that adds a bunch of new quests and a fresh map, which is really fun to explore.



i've been searching everywhere for these ship models, and it seems like they're only available on the new riven tide map. i tried doing a bird city event, but no luck - maybe i'm just really unlucky, or maybe they're exclusive to this new map. either way, i've found that you can get them in residential areas like the hotel panorama azzurro, or just by exploring the map and finding them lying around. i even found one in this small building in the weighing checkpoint, which is an industrial area, so they're really all over the place.



but the best way to get ship models, in my opinion, is through the beachcombing map condition on riven tide. it's like a special event that takes over the area, and you get to use this cool dockmaster's detector to find caches on the beach. most of the time, these caches have ship models inside, and i've even found some rare ones like the sirena dorata. it's really easy to find them this way, and it's a lot of fun too. just be aware that the dockmaster's detectors can wear down after a while, but you can always get more through the avian alarm project or by crafting them.
