so i've been playing subnautica 2 on my pc and i'm totally obsessed with it - the underwater world is just so mesmerizing. but, as with any game, there are some tough parts, like when you need to dive really deep and your hull starts to breach. that's where celestine comes in - it's this rare material that you can use to craft a tadpole depth module, which basically saves your life.



i was stuck on this part for ages, trying to figure out where to find celestine. it turns out it's only available in the biome around the alien ruins, which is pretty far from the starting point. you have to complete the tadpole pens and then cross this huge, spooky stretch of sea to get to the new biome. it's a bit of a trek, but trust me, it's worth it.



once you finally make it to the alien ruins, you need to head to the lower depths to find celestine. there's this one spot that's about 200 meters southeast of the ruins, over the cliff and down to the rocks below. just be careful, because there are these two needlers patrolling the area and they can be super annoying. the celestine nodes look like these small, light blue, jagged crystals - kind of like salt nodes, but way more valuable.
