so i just dove into the new distortions quest in destiny 2 and i'm kinda stoked about the whole thing. basically, this quest is part of a bigger event that bungie's hoping will get us all playing together in the same areas again. and, honestly, i'm all for it - the more people playing together, the more fun it is, right?

anyway, to get started with the quest, you'll need to head to the tower and chat with lodi. they'll fill you in on what's going on with the nine and how they're still trying to break free from the solar system. it's all pretty standard destiny 2 fare, but it's a good intro to the distortions event. from there, you'll need to head to whatever destination is currently "distorted" - you can tell which one it is because it'll have a big red circle around it on the map.

once you're in the distorted area, you'll need to follow a strange signal that'll lead you to a tough enemy. beating this guy will unlock a chest that's got some pretty sweet loot in it, including some high-tier weapons. and, let me tell you, these weapons are actually really cool - they've all got this "carrion munitions" trait that spawns these adorable little robot things that chase down enemies when you kill a powerful foe. it's so much fun to watch.

if you're interested in seeing which weapons are available, you can check out the distortions attunement in your inventory. it'll show you all the potential drops, and you can even see what kind of perks they've got. i've been using this to plan out which ones i want to go for, and it's been really helpful.Read more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
