omg, you guys, have you heard the news about wallhack's first gaming mouse? apparently, it's gonna have hot swappable batteries, which sounds like a total game changer to me. i mean, who hasn't been in the middle of a intense gaming session and had their mouse run out of battery? it's the worst, right?



i've seen a few other companies trying out this hot swappable battery thing, like glorious and steelseries, but i'm really curious to see how wallhack does it. the teaser trailer they released shows a separate battery zooming into place, which looks pretty sleek. and, supposedly, it's gonna have a "hot-swap battery system" which is just a fancy way of saying you can swap out the batteries without having to turn off your mouse.



i'm also loving the look of the wireless dongle/puck that comes with it - it's got a scroller for dpi and polling rate, and a bunch of other buttons that look super useful. plus, the mouse itself looks pretty lightweight, which is always a bonus. i'm a bit of a fan of wallhack's other products, like their mouse pads and sleeves, so i'm hoping this mouse lives up to their usual standards.

preorders are available at major retailers, but we won't know the price until july 24, when the mouse is officially announced. i'm guessing it's gonna be pretty pricey, though - probably over $140, considering it's a high-end gaming mouse. still, if it's as good as it sounds, i'd be willing to shell out the cash. i mean, not having to worry about my mouse running out of battery in the middle of a game is basically a dream come true.
