omg, you guys, have you heard about hideo kojima's latest thoughts on, well, death? it's pretty wild. apparently, he's been thinking about it a lot lately, and i mean, who can blame him, right? he's 62 and still going strong, but i guess it's only natural to start pondering the big questions.

so, kojima's been talking about how he wants to die in a movie theater - yes, you read that right. he wants to kick the bucket in a cinema, surrounded by the magic of film. and not just anywhere, either - he wants it to be right before the movie starts, when the lights are low and the trailers are playing. it's actually kind of romantic, in a weird way. i mean, the guy is obsessed with movies, so it's only fitting that he'd want to go out with a cinematic bang.

i have to admit, it's pretty cool that kojima's got such a clear vision for his own demise. i mean, who wouldn't want to die doing something they love? and for kojima, that's clearly film. he's always been a huge movie buff, and it shows in his games - just think about all the cinematic references and homages in metal gear solid and death stranding. it's like he's trying to cram as much movie magic into his games as possible.
