so, you know how there was that super hyped dungeons and dragons action game announced last year? the one being developed by giant skull, a studio led by stig asmussen, who's also known for his work on star wars jedi: fallen order? well, it looks like that project just got canned by hasbro, which is pretty surprising given how much excitement was surrounding it.

apparently, hasbro didn't really vibe with the early concept that giant skull came up with, and they decided to pull the plug on the whole thing. which is a bummer, because i was really looking forward to seeing what this team would come up with. i mean, stig asmussen's track record is pretty impressive, and the idea of a d&d action game sounded like a total dream come true. but, you know, these things happen, and it's not like giant skull is giving up or anything.

from what i've heard, the studio is already talking to other companies about finding a new publishing deal, which is great news. it sounds like they're still pretty confident about their project, and they're not letting this setback hold them back. and hasbro seems to be on good terms with them too, which is nice to see. they've even said that they have a lot of respect for stig asmussen and his team, so it's not like there's any bad blood or anything.
