omg, you guys, the halo mods are already here and they're kinda crazy. i mean, it's only been a few days since campaign evolved dropped, and modders are already tinkering with it like it's a retro arcade classic or something. i've been browsing through the early mods, and while there are the usual tweaks and stuff, some of them are actually really creative.

so, i stumbled upon this one mod called halo - chipmunk edition, and it's literally what it sounds like - all the character voices are pitch-shifted to sound like chipmunks. it's hilarious, and i'm lowkey impressed that the modder, omniscye, managed to alter almost 15,400 dialogue files. i'm not even kidding, that's dedication. and the best part is, it seems like it was done manually, without any ai help, which is kinda refreshing in this era of ai-generated everything.

i'm also loving the other mods that are popping up, like the one that unlocks hidden skins. sadly, no alvin and the chipmunks skins, though - that would've been amazing. and then there's the mod that activates split-screen co-op, which is a great feature that should've been included in the game to begin with. it's available on pc, ps5, and xbox series x/s, so you can get in on the modding action regardless of your platform.

anyway, if you're looking for some laughs or just want to try out some new mods, now's the time. preorders are available at major retailers, and you can find all the mods and more info about the game online. i'm definitely gonna be keeping an eye on the modding scene for halo: campaign evolved - it's gonnaRead more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
