so i just got done playing halo: campaign evolved and i'm still trying to figure out how i feel about it. it's basically a remake of the original halo, but with a bunch of modern tweaks and updates. i mean, who doesn't love a good halo game, right? but at the same time, it's hard not to compare it to the original, which is still an amazing game even 25 years later.

one thing that's pretty cool about campaign evolved is the way it looks and feels. the developers have done a great job of making it feel like a modern game, with all the fancy graphics and stuff. it's also really neat to see all the old battlegrounds and levels reimagined with new graphics and effects. and let's be real, it's always fun to play through a halo game, no matter how many times you've done it before.

but at the same time, i couldn't shake the feeling that this game is kind of... unnecessary. i mean, we already have the master chief collection, which has all the old halo games with modern conveniences and stuff. and campaign evolved just doesn't have as much to offer, to be honest. it's missing some features, it doesn't have as many campaigns, and there's no competitive multiplayer. so it's hard to see why you would choose to play this over the original or the master chief collection.
