so i just found out that hades 2 got a brand new patch and i'm super stoked about it. apparently, it's not just a bunch of tiny fixes, but actually a pretty cool collection of additions that make the game even more fun. i mean, who doesn't love more content, right?

one of the coolest things about this patch is that it adds more closure to the sidequests. you know how sometimes you're like, "wait, what happened to that one character?" well, now you'll get these awesome homer-narrated summaries at the end of their stories, and it feels so satisfying. it's like, all your hard work paid off, you know? and even though it's a roguelike, so characters can't change too much, it still feels really rewarding.

i'm also loving the new accessibility features, like the extra level of zoom. it's apparently recommended for smaller displays, but honestly, i think it's just nice to have more options. and, let's be real, the real excitement is around the romance options. icarus, in particular, is now less reluctant to, you know, forge a bond with you. i mean, i had to earn all the achievements and get to the post-epilogue just to get him in the bath, so this is a major win for all you icarus romancers out there.

on the mechanical side, it seems like ares got some serious buffs. the grisly gain boon is now even better, with an increased chance of weapon strikes spilling plasma. and some of the other ares boons have been reworked or had their damage increased, which is pretty cool. i'm definitely going to have to try out some new olympus runs with these changesRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
