so i just heard about this really cool new game engine that's being developed by arjan brussee, one of the co-founders of guerrilla games. apparently, it's going to be a totally european-hosted engine, built by europeans, and made to comply with all the european rules and guidelines. this is actually a pretty big deal, since right now most game engines are made in the us and might not be the best fit for european devs.

i think it's really interesting that brussee is talking about how important it is to have more choices for game engines, especially since making 3d worlds is getting more and more important for all kinds of projects - not just games. it's like, we're not just talking about making pretty graphics, we're talking about creating whole new worlds that people can interact with and explore. and if we want to do that in a way that's really tailored to european devs and players, we need an engine that's made with those needs in mind.

one of the things that's got me a bit curious is that brussee is talking about integrating some kind of tech from the ground up to make the engine more efficient and powerful. i'm not totally sure what that means, but it sounds like it could be a game-changer. apparently, it's all about making it easier for devs to create and customize their games without having to navigate a million menus and options. and if it can really do the work of ten or fifteen people, like brussee is saying, that's just crazy.

preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure if this engine is something that's going to be available for us to buy and use at home - it sounds like it's more geared towards game devs andRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
