okay, so you guys know how there's this huge deal about space exploration and stuff? like, nasa's been doing some pretty cool things lately, including this artemis 2 mission that went around the moon. it's a big deal, obviously, but it's also kind of funny because gamers just casually walked more miles in death stranding 2 than the astronauts did in their entire mission.

i mean, think about it - the artemis 2 mission covered around 700,000 miles, which is crazy when you consider it's in space and all, but death stranding 2 players managed to rack up almost 970,000 miles in just ten days. and the best part? that's just from walking, not using any vehicles or anything. it's like, we're not even trying to be astronauts or anything, we're just delivery drivers in a post-apocalyptic world, and we still managed to outdo them.

i guess what's even more impressive is that this is all happening across two platforms - ps5 and pc. the pc version is only a month old, and the ps5 version has been out for a bit longer, but still, it's pretty cool to see how much mileage (heh) players are getting out of the game. and let's be real, walking in a game is way easier than being an actual astronaut, but it's still a fun little bragging right to have.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm a bit amused by the fact that kojima productions is keeping track of this stuff and comparing it to real-life space missions. it's just such a fun and quirky thing to do, and it really speaks to the sense of community and shared experience that gamers have. and hey, who knowsRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
