so i just heard that take-two, the publisher behind grand theft auto 6, has let go of their head of ai and a bunch of other people in that department. i'm not entirely sure what to make of this, but it seems like it's all part of a bigger issue that's been going on with rockstar lately.

i've been following the news about rockstar north and the whole unionizing thing, and it's just getting more and more drama-filled by the day. apparently, some devs who were working on gta 6 got fired after talking about the company's new slack policy in a discord chat. like, what even is that? it's pretty wild to me that a company would fire people for just discussing something like that.

it's not just the devs who are upset about all this, either - the uk prime minister, keir starmer, has spoken out about how concerning the whole situation is. and get this, 220 rockstar staff members have signed a letter asking for the fired workers to be reinstated. that's a pretty big deal, if you ask me. it's clear that there's a lot of tension between rockstar and its employees right now.

i'm also hearing that there are some legal claims being filed against rockstar by the iwgb union, which is pretty serious. it's all just a big mess, and i'm not sure how it's going to get resolved. as for gta 6, well... let's just say i'm not holding my breath for it to come out anytime soon. it's already been delayed once, and now it's been hit with another delay. preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure if i'm even going to bother at this point.
