so i just heard about this really weird issue with google's new discover feed feature. basically, it's supposed to let you customize what shows up in your feed by typing in what you're interested in, like "show me more gaming news" or whatever. sounds cool, right? but it turns out that even though google is this huge company with tons of resources, their ai tool can't even do something as simple as block a specific website from showing up.

i mean, i'm no tech expert or anything, but it seems like a pretty basic task. you'd think that with all the advancements in technology and stuff, a company like google would be able to make it work. but nope, their "tailor your feed" feature is still super glitchy. apparently, it's an experimental thing that you have to enable manually, and even then it doesn't always work right. i can see why they're still testing it, but it's kinda disappointing that it's not more polished.

so here's what happens when you try to block a website: google will say something like "you won't see as many posts from this site" or "i can't guarantee you'll see none of something". um, what? that's not exactly what i asked for. i just want to be able to say "hey, don't show me any links from this website" and have it actually listen. it's not like i'm asking for much. and it's not just me, either - i've seen other people complaining about this online, so it's not just some weird issue with my account or anything.
