omg, you guys, i just heard the best news - gog galaxy is finally coming to linux. i know, i know, it's about time, right? as a huge fan of playing games on my linux machine, this is a total game changer for me. i mean, gog galaxy is already an amazing way to play gog games on pc, and now we'll get to experience it on linux too.



i've been using the heroic games launcher to play gog games on linux, and while it's a great workaround, it's just not the same as having the official app. gog galaxy has so many awesome features, like playtime and achievement tracking, that make it a total must-have for any gamer. and the fact that it centralizes your friends list from different platforms like steam, gog, and epic is just genius. i can already imagine how much more convenient it'll be to stay connected with my friends across different gaming platforms.



apparently, the team at gog has been listening to our feedback, and they're really passionate about making linux support a priority. they've even hired a specialist to work on it, which is super promising. of course, we don't have a release date yet, but just knowing that it's in the works is enough to get me excited. i'm a little curious about how they plan to approach linux support, but i trust that they'll figure it out.
