so i just got my hands on the glorious ghs eternal, a new wired gaming headset from a brand that's usually known for their mice and keyboards. i was pretty curious to see how they'd do in the audio department, especially since it's only $60. i mean, that's a pretty budget-friendly price point, so i wasn't expecting to be blown away or anything.



one of the first things i noticed about the ghs eternal is that it's basically just a 3.5mm audio jack - no fancy wireless stuff here. but hey, that does mean it's compatible with a ton of devices, from pcs to smartphones to consoles like the nintendo switch and xbox. the headset also comes with a pretty cool detachable mic arm that's flexible, so you can position it however you like. the audio quality is decent, but not amazing - it's fine for discord chats and video calls, but you might notice some distortion if you're not careful.



i have to say, i'm a bit of a fan of the design of the ghs eternal. the cushioned headrest and plush earcups make it really comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions, and the clamping strength is just right - not too tight, not too loose. the memory foam ear pads are also a nice touch, although i did notice that there's basically no noise isolation. like, i could hear my friends talking in the next room, and i'm pretty sure they could hear me jamming out to music too.
