so, you guys know how i'm all about that retro arcade life, but sometimes i like to dive into the world of pc gaming too. and right now, there's some pretty cool stuff happening with garry's mod and its spiritual successor, s&box. basically, s&box is like a game making tool that lets you create your own games and share them with others, which sounds amazing, right?



but, here's the thing - it's already getting flooded with low-quality, ai-generated content. and i'm talking like, really obvious stuff that's just not cool. the devs at facepunch are aware of the problem, though, and they're planning to take action to promote human creativity and push all that ai slop off the main page. i'm so down for that, because let's be real, there's nothing worse than seeing a game you love get taken over by lazy, ai-made content.



so, s&box is out now on pc, and it's still pretty rough around the edges. but, the devs are promising weekly updates and they're listening to player feedback, which is awesome. they're also being super transparent about the fact that some user-generated content might contain ai-generated stuff, which is just something we've got to deal with in this day and age, i guess. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out.
