omg you guys, have you heard about the drama going on with ubisoft and their game the crew? basically, france's biggest consumer association is suing them over shutting down the game's online mode. i'm totally not surprised, though - it's not like this is the first time we've seen something like this happen.

so, for those who don't know, the crew is an old driving game that still has a pretty dedicated fanbase. when ubisoft announced they were shutting down the online mode, fans were understandably upset. i mean, who wants to play a game that's just going to get cut off from the rest of the community? it's like, what's the point of even playing it anymore? the lawsuit is all about how ubisoft didn't give players enough warning or compensation for the shutdown, which is pretty sketchy if you ask me.
