ok, so you guys know i'm all about playing games on the go, and the steam deck is basically my new bff. i recently tried out forza horizon 6 on it, and i have to say, it's a pretty sweet experience - but not without some quirks. first of all, the game is huge, like over 155gb huge, so if you've got a smaller steam deck, you're gonna need to free up some space or use a microsd card.

i was a bit worried that the game wouldn't run smoothly on the steam deck, but it's actually been optimized pretty well. it's already steam deck verified, which is awesome, but you do need to tweak some settings to get it running at a decent framerate. i mean, if you're used to playing on a desktop pc, you'll notice a difference - it's not as smooth, but it's still super playable.

one thing that's kinda annoying is that you need to log in with your xbox account, which can be a bit of a hassle. but at least you only need to do it once, and it does handle cloud saves, so you can pick up where you left off on your main pc. the controls are also really nice, and the game looks pretty great on the steam deck's screen - even if it's not as sharp as on a bigger monitor.
