omg, you guys, max and chloe are back together again in life is strange: reunion, and i'm not entirely sure how to feel about it. i mean, i loved the original life is strange game, and the ending was just so perfect and emotional... but i guess the developers wanted to bring them back together, and now we have reunion.



so, life is strange: reunion is out now on ps5, xbox series x/s, and pc, and it's basically a new adventure with max and chloe. the story takes place after the events of life is strange: double exposure, where max fused all the timelines together, allowing chloe to return. in reunion, max is working as a photography teacher, but things take a dark turn when the university catches on fire, killing all her friends. max uses her time rewind power to go back and try to fix things, and that's where chloe comes in.



i'm a bit worried that reunion might be too focused on fanservice, you know? like, the launch trailer makes it seem like max and chloe are just going to be all cute and happy together, which kind of undermines the whole point of the original game's ending. but at the same time, i'm curious to see how the story plays out, and i love the time rewind mechanic, it's so much fun to use. and as chloe, you get to use this "backtalk" ability, which is basically just talking sarcastically, but it's still pretty cool.
