so i just heard about this new game called carcass clad, and i'm pretty stoked about it. it's being made by wrong organ, the same devs who brought us mouthwashing, which was this super creepy narrative horror game. but here's the thing - carcass clad is totally different. it's a co-op tank sim, which is a huge departure from their previous work.

i think it's really cool that the devs are trying something new, though. they mentioned that they didn't want to just make another story game, and instead wanted to focus on gameplay. they're calling it a "gameplay game", which is pretty interesting. apparently, they're trying to prove that they can make different types of games, and not just get pigeonholed into one genre.

from what i've heard, carcass clad is still going to have some of the same themes as mouthwashing, like dehumanization and body horror. but it's going to be more focused on the gameplay, with a lot of attention to detail on the tank mechanics and stuff. the devs even mentioned that they spent months just designing the little components of the tank, which is pretty impressive.
i'm definitely excited to check out carcass clad, even if it doesn't have a release date yet. you can wishlist it on steam, which is pretty cool. and who knows, maybe after this game, the devs will go back to making a more narrative-driven game. they mentioned that they're not ready to make a "gameplay story game" just yet, but i'm hoping that's something we'll see in the future.

preorders are available at major retailers, which is always a plus. i'm not sure what the price is going to be, but i'm hoping it's notRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
