so i just heard that final fantasy 7 revelation is getting a ton of dlc, including a "story expansion pass" - which is pretty exciting for fans of the series. i mean, we all knew the game was supposed to be the final part of the remake trilogy, but it looks like square enix has a lot more to say before they wrap things up.



apparently, there are listings on the epic games store that mention up to 9 different dlc packs for the game, as well as the story expansion pass. now, we don't know exactly what any of these dlc packs will include, but it's likely that some of them will be extra story content, while others might just be cosmetic stuff like costumes. the story expansion pass is probably a way for players to buy all the story-related dlc at once, rather than having to purchase each pack separately.



i'm not super familiar with the final fantasy series, but i know that the previous games in the remake trilogy have gotten some pretty cool dlc. for example, final fantasy 7 remake got a story-focused dlc called episode intermission, which was really well-received by fans. so, it's possible that the dlc for revelation will be just as good, if not better. and with the game coming out on a bunch of different platforms, including nintendo switch 2, pc, ps5, and xbox series x/s, there will be plenty of ways for players to experience it.
