omg, you guys, have you heard that the fallout series just got nominated for a ton of emmys? like, nine of them, which is pretty crazy. but here's the thing - none of them are for the actors, which is kind of weird. i mean, i've seen the show and the acting is really good, especially walton goggins as cooper howard. he's literally my favorite part of the whole series.



i'm not even kidding, goggins was amazing in season 2, especially in the pre-war sequences. i was totally expecting him to get nominated, but i guess not. it's not like the rest of the show didn't get recognized, though - it's up for some pretty cool categories like outstanding makeup, costumes, and stunt performance. and let's be real, the special effects in fallout are insane, so it's no surprise that they're getting some love.



so, who did get nominated for outstanding lead actor? some pretty big names, actually - noah wyle, mark ruffalo, gary oldman, sterling k. brown, and rufus sewell. they're all great actors, don't get me wrong, but i'm still a little salty that goggins didn't make the cut. i mean, his performance as the ghoul is literally iconic. maybe next year, right?
