so i just heard the craziest story about bethesda and obsidian, the devs behind fallout: new vegas. apparently, after the game came out, bethesda was pretty harsh on obsidian, using review scores against them and even making them sit through this super awkward powerpoint presentation about all the things they did wrong. i mean, can you imagine being a dev and having to sit through that? it's like, thanks for the feedback, i guess.

i've always loved fallout: new vegas, it's one of those games that just gets better with time. and it's interesting to think about how it was a bit of a milestone for the series, you know, before fallout 4 came out and changed everything. but anyway, back to the story - chris avellone, one of the writers on new vegas, was talking about this in an interview and he seemed pretty hesitant to even bring it up. he was like, yeah, bethesda didn't really want to work with us again, and they made it pretty clear why.

it's worth noting that avellone didn't exactly leave obsidian on good terms, and he's had someRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
