omg, have you guys heard about the new fighting game invincible vs? it's based on that crazy popular cartoon and it's getting a lot of buzz right now. the game director, dave hall, is literally so passionate about fighting games and thinks everyone should play them - i mean, who can blame him, right? they're just so much fun, whether you're a casual player like me or a hardcore competitor.



i love how dave hall got into fighting games, btw. he used to play them casually, but then street fighter 4 came out in 2008 and he got super into the competitive scene. his colleague was even a pro player who placed third at evo, which is like, wow. that's when hall really got hooked and started wanting to make fighting games himself. and now, he's working on invincible vs, which is just amazing.



so, invincible vs is a tag team fighter, which is really cool. the game's director thinks the superhero roster is perfect for this kind of gameplay, and i have to agree. it's going to be a bit of a unique experience, especially since there are a few other tag team fighters coming out around the same time. like, 2xko just came out last october, and marvel tōkon is dropping in august 2026. preorders are available at major retailers, btw.



i'm really stoked to see how invincible vs turns out. i mean, the devs are clearly fans of fighting games themselves, and that always makes for a better game. plus, the ip is so cool - who wouldn't want to play as their favorite superhero? the game's director is all about making fighting games accessible to everyone, which i think is really important. weRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
