ok, so you guys know how eve online is like, this super complex space mmo that's all about strategy and player interaction, right? well, it's just gotten even more interesting - google deepmind is jumping on board, taking a minority stake in the company that makes eve, which used to be called ccp games. apparently, they want to use eve online to help train their tech, which is pretty cool, i guess.

i'm not entirely sure what to make of this news, to be honest - part of me thinks it's awesome that eve online is getting this kind of recognition, but another part of me is worried that it's going to change the game in some way. i mean, eve online is already super complicated, with its own player-driven economy and stuff, so i'm not sure how google deepmind's involvement is going to affect that. but hey, maybe it'll bring some new features or improvements to the game, who knows.

preorders are available at major retailers, by the way - not that i think this news is going to make a huge difference to whether or not you buy the game, butRead more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
