so i just heard about this pretty wild situation with epic games, the company behind fortnite. apparently, they had some major layoffs recently, and one of the programmers who got let go is dealing with terminal brain cancer. the worst part is, they no longer have life insurance because of the layoff. it's just really sad and frustrating to think about.



i've been following this story, and it seems like tim sweeney, the founder of epic games, is trying to make things right. he said that the company will "solve" the problem, but i'm not really sure what that means or how they plan to do it. i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next. it's just really important for companies to take care of their employees, you know? especially when they're going through something as tough as a serious illness.
