omg, you guys, there's been some crazy news about epic games lately. so, apparently they're working on a new extraction shooter with disney characters, which sounds kinda wild. i mean, i love disney, but i'm not sure how it's gonna fit with the whole extraction shooter vibe. still, it's supposed to be out by the end of the year, so we'll just have to wait and see.

anyway, it's been a pretty rough time for epic games lately. they just laid off over 1,000 people, which is insane. apparently, they're just not making as much money as they used to, and something had to give. it's sad, because i know a lot of people who work in the gaming industry, and it's always tough to see people lose their jobs. and it's not just the layoffs - fortnite's original save the world mode is now free-to-play, which is a pretty big change.
