so i just heard that zenimax online studios, the team behind elder scrolls online, is basically back to the same size it was about 10 years ago. and honestly, it's kinda sad to think about. i mean, i know they had to lay off a bunch of people due to the whole xbox situation, but it's still weird to think that all that growth and progress they made over the years is basically gone now.

apparently, some of the senior devs at the studio said this during a recent event in germany, where they were chatting with fans and stuff. they mentioned that the studio is now around the same size it was when they were working on those really popular dlc packs, wrothgar and summerset. which, yeah, are super highly praised by fans and critics alike. but at the same time, it's hard not to think about all the people who lost their jobs and the impact that's gonna have on the game and the community.

it's all just a bit of a mess, if you ask me. and i'm not sure i buy into the whole "we're back to where we started" thing. i mean, game development has changed so much over the past decade, and it's not like youRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
