omg, you guys, i just heard about the most messed up thing in crimson desert. apparently, some players have figured out how to trick npcs into jumping to their deaths by using apples. like, who comes up with this stuff? it's genius, but also kinda dark.

so, from what i understand, npcs in the game have this habit of picking up items that players drop, especially food. which, okay, that's pretty relatable. who doesn't love a good snack? but some players have taken this to the next level by using it to lure npcs into traps. they'll place an apple on a log that's hanging over a bridge, and the npcs will try to jump for it, not realizing they'll fall to their deaths. it's like, wow, that's dedication to causing chaos.

i watched this video by a korean youtuber, moshola_aaa, and it was basically a montage of npcs trying to get this apple, but failing miserably. it was kinda sad, but also hilarious? i mean, who doesn't love a good fail video? and the music in the background was so dramatic, it made the whole thing feel like a tragic opera. i was laughing, but also feeling a little bad for the npcs.
