omg, you guys, it's officially the end of an era - bungie just announced that destiny 2 is getting its last "live service content update" in june. i know, i'm still trying to process it too. the studio said that after this final update, they're moving on to new projects, which is kinda exciting, but also super sad because, let's be real, destiny 2 has been a huge part of a lot of our gaming lives.

so, the last update is scheduled for june 9, and bungie is calling it a "collection of love letters to players" - which, aww, that's actually really sweet. they're making some big changes to the game to make sure it's still fun to play, even after the updates stop. apparently, they want destiny 2 to be a game that you can come back to anytime and still have a blast, whether you're in the mood for some competitive action or just want to chill and explore the destinations.
