so, big news in the gaming world - destiny 2 is basically done. bungie just announced that the last live service update is coming in june, and after that, they're moving on to other projects. i have to admit, i'm a bit sad about it - i've had some good times playing destiny 2 with friends, even if it's not my all-time favorite game.

as you can imagine, fans are pretty upset about the whole thing. there's a lot of speculation going on about what bungie's going to do next, and whether they can actually make a decent destiny 3. i mean, i've heard some people say that until bungie explicitly says "no, we're never making destiny 3", they're going to keep hoping. i'm kind of with them on that - i think a new destiny game could be really cool, as long as bungie learns from their past mistakes.

some people are talking about what they'd want to see in a potential destiny 3. for example, one streamer said they'd like to see a better balance between gunplay and abilities - like, a 50/50 split. that sounds pretty reasonable to me, but i'm no expert. others are just mourning the loss of destiny 2, and i get that too. it's always sad when a game you love comes to an end, even if it's not like it's gone forever or anything.
