omg, you guys, remember that old school action rpg darkstone from 1999? it's like, this super quirky game where you have to eat apples and stuff to stay alive, and your character even gets older and weaker over time if you don't watch out. it's pretty wild.

i'm actually really excited that the original creator, paul cuisset, is remastering it - it's called darkstone restoration now. the old version is still available, but let's be real, it's pretty rough around the edges. the music skips, the framerate is all over the place, and the ui is super hard to read. so, a remaster is definitely in order. and from what i've heard, it's going to have a ton of quality-of-life improvements, like better stability and controls.
