omg, you guys, i just found out about this crazy feature in crimson desert where you can actually watch npcs build statues and bridges in real-time. like, i know it sounds weird, but it's actually kind of mesmerizing. apparently, the game's director thinks it's "absolutely insane" too, and i'm inclined to agree.

so, in crimson desert, you get to manage and expand a camp, which is a pretty big part of the game. you can send out your crew on various missions, like securing estates or doing some farming and production. but then there are these special missions where you get to build stuff, like statues or bridges. and if you go to the construction site, you can literally watch your npcs work on it for hours. i mean, it's not like they're actually animating the entire process or anything, but it's still pretty cool.

i love that the developers, pearl abyss, decided to include this detail, even though most players will probably never even notice it. i mean, it's not like it's a crucial part of the gameplay or anything, but it's just a nice touch. and the fact that they even animated the npcs taking breaks and stuff is just amazing. i've been playing the game for a bit now, and i have to say, it's been a wild ride. there are some frustrating parts, but there are also some really unique and quirky features that make it stand out.
