omg, have you guys heard about crimson desert? it's this super chaotic game that's actually really good if you're into that sort of thing. i mean, it's not for everyone, but if you like a game that's gonna overwhelm you with stuff to do, then this is the one for you. and apparently, a lot of people agree, because it's been selling like crazy - we're talking over 2 million copies sold in just a few months.



i was browsing through some news about it, and it seems like the developer, pearl abyss, is really happy with how it's doing. they just released a report that shows the game made around $284 million in revenue in the first half of the year, which is insane. and get this - most of that money is coming from north america and europe, which is kinda surprising since the game is made by a korean studio. but i guess that just shows how popular it is worldwide.



so, what does this mean for us players? well, for starters, we can expect some new dlc to drop later this year. the developers are being pretty tight-lipped about what it'll include, but they promise to share more details soon. apparently, we can expect some announcements in the next month or so, which is pretty soon considering how fast the studio has been pushing out updates. i mean, they've already added so much new content, from birdwatching to economy overhauls, and even new mounts and animals.
