omg, you guys, i just heard that control resonant is gonna take around 30 hours to finish, which is pretty cool if you ask me. i mean, that's a decent amount of time to get stuck into a game and really explore the world and story. and if you're a completionist like me, you're looking at more like 50 hours, which is even better.

i love that the devs, remedy, are taking inspiration from all over the place, not just other video games. they're looking at all sorts of things to make the game feel unique and exciting. and it's not just about copying other games, it's about taking the best bits and making them their own. for example, the lead gameplay designer, sergey mohov, mentioned that he's a big fan of dmc 2 and 3, which is awesome because those games are so much fun.
