omg, you guys, have you heard about peak, the crazy co-op climbing game where you and your friends scale this insane mountain together? it's been out for over a year now, and the devs just announced their final major update, called the final ascent, which is dropping on august 11th. i'm super stoked to see what they have in store for us.



so, the final ascent update is bringing two brand new biomes to the game - gloom and the citadel. from what i've seen, they look super spooky and eerie, with a medieval dungeon tower and this creepy purple landscape that's just begging to be explored. apparently, by making your way through these new biomes, you'll finally rescue the scout master and wrap up the story that started when the game first came out. i love how the devs are always adding new challenges and areas to explore, it keeps the game feeling fresh and exciting.



i have to say, i'm a bit sad that this is the last major update for peak, but at the same time, i'm excited to see what the devs have planned for the future. the game has gotten a lot of love since it came out last summer, and it's easy to see why - it's just so much fun to play with friends, and the customizable characters and wacky gameplay make for some seriously hilarious moments. i've had some of my best gaming moments playing peak with my friends, and i'm sure this new update will bring even more laughs and excitement.
