so, you guys might've heard the news already, but claude guillemot, one of the co-founders of ubisoft, passed away in a plane crash. it's really sad, and i'm still trying to wrap my head around it. i mean, ubisoft is this huge company that's been around for decades, and to think that one of the people who started it all is gone is just crazy.

i was reading about the crash, and it sounds like it happened on friday afternoon in this small town in france. apparently, the plane was trying to land when it made a turn and crashed, killing claude and the plane's owner. it's still not clear what caused the crash, but the french authorities are going to be investigating it. i'm just hoping they can figure out what happened and make sure it doesn't happen again.

claude was 69, which is pretty young if you ask me. i mean, he was still involved in the gaming industry, sitting on ubisoft's board and running his own company, guillemot corporation. that company owns a bunch of other brands, like hercules and thrustmaster, which are pretty big in the gaming world. it's crazy to think about all the things he accomplished in his life, from helping start ubisoft to building all these other successful brands.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm a bit of a retro gaming nerd, and ubisoft has been around for so long that they've made some of my favorite games of all time. i mean, who doesn't love assassin's creed or far cry? those games are classics, and it's crazy to think that claude was a part of making them happen. anyway, rest in peace claude - you will be missedRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
