omg, you guys, i just heard that the devs behind clair obscur: expedition 33 are actually working on a nintendo switch 2 version, and i am so hyped. i mean, who wouldn't want to play this amazing rpg on the go, right? the thing is, it's not going to be a simple port, and the devs are being super upfront about the challenges they're facing.

apparently, the switch 2 just isn't as powerful as some of the other consoles out there, like the ps5 or xbox series x, which is making it tough for the team to get the game running smoothly. they're talking about how some of the features they used in the game, which is built on unreal engine 5, just aren't compatible with the switch 2, at least not yet. it's cool that epic is working on making some of these features more accessible, but it's all going to take some time.

i can understand why the devs are taking their time with this, though. i mean, clair obscur: expedition 33 was created by a pretty small team, around 30 people, and it still managed to sell a million copies in just three days, which is crazy. the team is being really careful about how they move forward, and they're not just rushing to get the game out on every platform possible. it's nice to see a studio that's not just chasing trends and trying to make a quick buck.

so, when can we expect the switch 2 version? well, unfortunately, there's no set release date yet. the devs are still figuring things out, and they don't want to make any promises they can't keep. preorders are available at major retailers for the existing versionsRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
