hey guys, so you know how civilization 7 had a bit of a rocky start? well, it looks like the devs are really trying to turn things around, and this month we're getting a huge update called "test of time" that's supposed to be like a mini expansion. i'm pretty stoked about it, since i've been having a blast playing as a pirate in the game.

i think what's really cool about this update is that it's not just a bunch of minor tweaks - it's actually a pretty significant overhaul of the game. we're talking deep changes to the way the game works, which should hopefully address some of the issues that people had at launch. i mean, i know some people were really frustrated with the ui, and apparently that's going to be improved in this update and also in some future ones.

one thing that's got me a bit curious is that the devs seem to be really committed to supporting the game long-term. despite some layoffs and a "slow start", the big boss at take-two is still confident that civilization 7 will hit its lifetime target. and with updates like this one, i can see why - they're really trying to listen to feedback and make the game better. plus, preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're interested in checking it out, you can do so pretty easily.

anyway, i'm pretty excited to dive in and see what this update has to offer. i've been playing civilization 7 pretty casually, but i can see myself getting really sucked in once some of these changes go live. has anyone else been playing it? what do you think of the changes so far? and are you planning on checking out the "test of time" update when it drops?Read more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
