so, you guys know how capcom has been crushing it lately, right? they just dropped their financial report for the year ending march 2026, and let's just say they're on a roll - 11 years of growth and counting. i mean, resident evil requiem was a huge hit, and it's no surprise that's a big part of their success.

but what's really interesting is what they're planning for the future. they're talking about taking some of their other franchises to the next level, like devil may cry, ace attorney, and dragon's dogma (yes, please!). apparently, they want to use a "flywheel-driven business model" to keep expanding their ip value - basically, make good games, sell them, and then use that momentum to create even more games and other cool stuff like anime and merchandise.

i love that they're thinking about how to grow their other brands, not just relying on the same old resident evil and monster hunter (as amazing as those are). they've already got some projects in the works, like onimusha: way of the sword and mega man: dual override, but it's exciting to think about what else they might have up their sleeve. and let's be real, seeing dragon's dogma on that list is basically all i care about - i'm a total fan girl for that game.

preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as hyped as i am, you can already start getting ready for some of these upcoming releases. no word on exact dates or prices just yet, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see some announcements soon. and who knows, maybe we'll even get some surprises like a new ace attorney game or (dare i dream?)Read more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
