omg, you guys, there's this crazy app that just launched and it's literally just a collection of old call of duty voice chat recordings. like, you can listen to people yelling at each other in mw2 and bo1 lobbies all day long. i know it sounds super weird, but apparently some people use it to fall asleep or just to feel all nostalgic about the good old days of gaming.

i'm kinda fascinated by this, tbh. the app is called call of duty ambience and it's got a bunch of different recordings from various games, including some of the classics like black ops 1 and 2, and modern warfare 2. the developer, mike wing, is clearly a fan of the series and has put a lot of effort into making this thing feel like an old xbox 360 dashboard. you can even click around and listen to different voice chats, although it's all pretty chaotic and nsfw, lol.

i've been listening to some of the recordings and it's actually pretty hilarious. there's so much trash talking and drama, it's like a reality tv show or something. but at the same time, it's also kinda sad because it reminds me of how much the gaming community has changed over the years. we used to have these big, persistent lobbies where you could hang out with other players and develop these weird little friendships or rivalries. nowadays, it's all just so much more casual and anonymous.

anyway, if you're feeling nostalgic for the old call of duty days, you might want to check out this app. it's definitely a unique experience, and it's free, so you've got nothing to lose. just be aware that it's not for the faint of heart, lol. and who knows, maybeRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
