omg, you guys, there's finally some news about the upcoming call of duty movie. i've been waiting for what feels like forever to hear more about it, and now we know it's going to be set in the modern warfare universe. i'm so down for that - modern warfare is one of my fave call of duty series, and i think it'll make for an amazing movie.



so, the director peter berg just spilled the beans at fanatics fest, and now we have a bit more to look forward to. the movie is still set to come out on june 30, 2028, which is kinda far away, but i'm hoping it'll be worth the wait. the head of activision, rob kostich, said they only wanted to make a movie if it was going to be done right, and i think setting it in the modern warfare universe is a great start.



i'm a bit curious to see how they're going to make the movie feel "really real" like rob kostich said, but i'm sure they'll figure it out. i mean, the call of duty games are all about action and suspense, so i'm hoping the movie will be just as thrilling. i just wish we had more info about the plot or the characters, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
